Can Roca Institute, located in Terrassa, was designed by Joan Pascual and Ramon Ausió architects.

The project occupies an area of 4,897 m2 on 2 floors and according to the same architecture studio "is generated from a U-shaped scheme with four prismatic pieces, orthogonal to each other, of different heights, widths and lengths, linked together through a central continuous corridor. "

In order to contribute to the energy improvement of the building, the architects decided to use adjustable lattices as solar protection, especially on the first and second floor, where the classrooms are located, because they wanted to avoid that "the windows were directly functional overtures, taking advantage of the needs of sun protection and darkening, grouping the overtures into units of greater entity through orientable slat walls ".

In addition to the R-Series Gradpanel steel lattices, the institute also has aluminum E-Series 220 and CL 50 lattices.
