Habitaçao social Vega Galindo Sestao
Residential project of 52 social housing designed by Katsura Arquitectura y Urbanismo, S.L studio, founded and directed by architect Luis Domínguez Viñuales.
Located in Punta de Sestao, formerly known as the Vega Galindo area, it was carried out for Visesa, a public company of Basque Government Environment, Territorial Planning and Housing department.
With aim to contribute to the aesthetics, to interior comfort and an to improve households energy efficiency, the facade of the building is equipped with adjustable Gradhermetic aluminum louvers.
Specifically, Brise Soleil BH 220 Series lattices were installed: single-wall slats in the shape of a “Seagull Wing” with angled ends and a 220x56 mm curved section.
The complex also has extruded aluminum lattices from Gradpanel CL 50 Series in a fixed frame and linear metalceilings with profiled aluminum slats from Lineal Phalcel P 100 Series.
