Casa unifamiliare Sant Cugat

Single-family house designed by Artigas Arquitectes and located in Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Albert Artigas's studio wanted to create a unique and totally personalized home. The "house of an author" as they call it.

As their website communication, this house is "a custom-made house, thought and designed according to who should live in it" and that always takes into account three main factors: the place (house understands it and adapts to it ), the program (dictated by their owners, who will say how they want to live) and the material (the formal element has its place and only one).

Regarding the place, we are facing a house that seeks the sun, takes advantage of natural light and protects itself from radiation. That is why the architecture studio relied on Gradhermetic for the installation of the Metallic 100 blinds: retractable blinds with high quality adjustable slats.

Metallic 100  blinds are made of high quality aluminum alloy and characterized by light perfect regulation inside the home, by avoiding the passage of cold at night, acting as an insulator, as well as by its protection against the sun and in the open. They include an obstacle protection device and provides greater safety.
