The Hospital de Emergencias Enfermera Isabel Zendal in Madrid is a "monographic health centre for pandemic crises that supports the entire hospital network of the Madrid Health Service in the event of any emergency, health crisis or healthcare need", according to the Madrid Health System itself.

Located in the Valdebebas district of Madrid and designed by the architecture studio Aidhos Arquitec SA, the hospital has a capacity of 1,008 hospital beds organised modularly around nursing controls and 48 ICU, 16 intensive care and 32 intermediate care units; in other words, a total of 1,056 beds.

The project uses Phalcel Baffle 150 Series open false ceilings made up of profiled aluminium baffle slats hung vertically from a support system of galvanised steel profiles in a U-shape. This set of metal ceilings is characterised by its high aesthetic result, its easily removable slats and allows permanent access to the register of the facilities.
