Village des Sciences
Village des Sciences project, located at University of Montpellier, is a construction of two new educational, administrative and auxiliary buildings.
With a surface area of 7,100 m2, the project was carried out by Agence d'Architecture Boyer-Percheron-Assus (BPA Architecture), as "a response to the specific challenges of opening up the campus to the city", according to the architects.
In fact, as they say on their website, they propose "an implementation of two poles A and D which opens up the garden of Egger's initial plan by a completely free passage on the ground floor of pole A, the shared middle building, thus connecting the city with the site".
It should be noted that the project has the collaboration of the company Indigo Batiment, a company dedicated to the treatment of façades, as well as PORCELANOSA Grupo materials such as Krion® K-Life.
Village des Sciencies is equipped with Brise Soleil BT 190 extruded aluminium lattices from Gradhermetic, which in addition to improving the aesthetics of the façade, contribute to improving its energy efficiency.
