Casa Begur
We are pleased to share our recent collaboration with Nordest Architecture Studio in creating a residence located in the majestic Begur massif, facing the idyllic Aiguablava beach.
The house features a main concrete block strategically positioned on a steep slope, offering panoramic sea views. Given its south orientation, it was necessary to implement solar control systems to provide efficient shading elements, ensuring optimal living comfort and improving thermal performance both in summer and winter.
In response to these technical and aesthetic requirements, we opted for the installation of natural wood lattice screens, an exceptional product with a motorized sliding system. This choice not only met the practical needs of the project but also allowed for a seamless integration of the house with its surroundings. The lattice screens not only serve their function as solar control but also become a distinctive architectural element. Thanks to their design, the house achieves a harmonious connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, linking the comfort of the home with the spacious terrace and, finally, with the surrounding natural landscape.
This project clearly exemplifies how a functional element, such as solar control, can be transformed into an architectural component that contributes both to the well-being of the residents and to the perfect integration with the environment. We not only improved the energy efficiency of the house but also created a space that blends harmoniously with its privileged location.
It is always a pleasure for us to share projects like this where the integration of our products allows us to fully exploit their potential.
