Casa PI
This project, designed by the Gaztelu Jerez Arquitectos studio, consists of a house with land in this neighborhood of the Obra Sindical del Hogar, inaugurated in 1946 and located southwest of the city of Burgos.
The work was finalist in the X Prize of Architecture of Castilla y León. With this single-family house we want to congratulate the architect Enrique Jerez.
The project is proposed as a possible solution for future interventions in this neighborhood, trying to reconcile the construction of a new plant with respect for the original architecture and set.
Environmental criteria have been specially taken into account, incorporating a high thermal insulation throughout the enclosure (15-20cm), adjustable solar protection in the holes facing south with Gradhermetic Metal·lic 100 blinds and Gradpanel P 80N lattices.
